Amber Carter is an associate attorney at LGR Law Group. She graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2024. Prior to joining LGR Law Group, Ms. Carter interned for the Honorable Verna G. Leath, J.S.C. at the Essex County Superior Court and was a summer law clerk at Breslin & Breslin, a personal injury and criminal law firm in Hackensack, New Jersey. During her final year in law school, Ms. Carter served as a student attorney at the Seton Hall Law School Equal Justice Clinic, where she advocated for her clients to get reduced parole restrictions and to get released from prison. As vice president of the Black Law Students Association, she participated in an expungement initiative that brought legal advice, support, and expungement services to Black and Brown barber shops in Newark, New Jersey. After law school, Ms. Carter clerked for both the Honorable Roselyn D. Holmes Grant, J.S.C. in the family division and the Honorable Lori E. Grifa, J.S.C. in the criminal division of the Essex County Superior Court.
